Phillies drop sixth straight

The Philadelphia Phillies, got a good start of the night from Jamie Moyer, and Pat Burrell putting them up 1-0, but behind a 7th inning Emil Brown 3 run homerun, and a Jack Cust two run homerun the Oakland A’s knocked off the Phillies 5-2 Tuesday night in Oakland.
Jamie Moyer took the loss to drop him to 5-5, while Joe Blanton picked up his 4th win on the year. Huston Street picked up his 14th save for the A’s.
The loss is the Phillies sixth straight, and drops them to 42-36 overall, while the A’s improved to 42-34 on the season.
Ryan Howard went 1-4 on the day raising his average to .220 on the year. He also drove in a run, his 65th rbi of the season.
